this weeks challenge is to create a ceremony...breath, relax, smile..all while doing my zentangle..
REALLY!!!!
Now I have done all three, just not at the same time. At times, I have hurried and put a few strokes on one I am doing jsut to finish it before io have to head off to work, Or in between doind something else..so I am not relaxing or breathing while doing this.
Smiling...while I do enjoy zentangles, I find myself concentrating so I am probably not smiling. But now I am supposed to do all three at the same time...
I think this week it is going to be difficult..I am going to actually have to concentrate on not concentrating and take some real time to relax and breathe AND smile....at the same time..Diva...you are devious, but I will accept this challenge and see where it takes my tangle this week...I want to incorporate some new tangles that have been presented this past week so...well, we will just have to wait and see.

More Zentangle inspired designs I have done

This, I did from a photo taken in NYC. It is found on the Zentangle.com web blog. I recreated the photo using different tanlges.

This I did using pink and brown pens. I made this one for a friend. I created the circles by using a CD. then added the "petals" after.

I used this flower to create a centerpiece for a bridal shower. I tangled in each petal and then photo copied the flowers.cut them out and glued them to pipe cleaner then made the display. Unfortunately, I didnt get a photo of the display..silly me!!

I created this tangle after i learned the "pokeleaf" tangle.then embellished and actually made a Valentines Card using this design.

#6 challenge

So, I finished WAY early. I was only going to work on this a little at a time and before I knew it I had a creation that I have finished.
When I made my first part (ixorus). It looked to me like the middle of a flower, and since I am sooo sick of the snow, i have had spring on my mind alot. so a flower blossomed right before my eyes.

It kind of reminds me of a pansy. So it is!!

Week #6 Challenge...taking tangles to new level

Soooo..the zentangle challenge this week that the Diva has set.. use the Zentangle from Rick and Maria at zentangle.com called IXORUS

and to take the zentangle experience to a new level and to use tangles we may have never used before..step it up I think is what I got out of what she said..Yea that;s it "STEP IT UP"!!!
Well, I do have a challenge then don't I. I need to find something really spectacular to make them all say WOW!!! I have  a week to do this.. I can do this...

These are approx. 17"x17" closed. There are several pockets to hold coloring books, paper, pens, pencils and crayons. or just about anything else the child can think of... (actual materials no longer available)

Orbs : I am the Diva Challenge week 5

The challenge was orbs.
The first one was my orignial submission. Once i finished it, i really thought it didnt fit the challenge and that is when I came up with the second one.
I looked up the definition of orb and added some of these definitions around the edges to finish the tile.

Starting Over

A little frustrated right now.
For some reason, google disabed my blog and my email. So i had to jump through hopos to reset it all and NOW my old blog is totally missing and I cannot access it.  It took me quite awhile to figure it  out and get it looking good and Now I have to totally start over.. SO ANGRY!! but ..as with everything else I will stand tall   move one and get it going again!!!
